Tonight J and I watched Amélie again, thanks to your reminders and recommendations on this post. It's completely ludicrous, but I hadn't considered Amélie one of my favorite films. I should have! That film affected me and impacted my life more than any of the films I listed in my top three. Isn't that funny? It's such an amazing movie. I really do love it so.
While we're on the topic, I have to just go ahead and say that before I went to study abroad, I cut my hair just like Amélie's and then got on a plane and flew to France. How ridiculous is that? Photos to follow. ;)
And here's a bit of what caught my eye around the web this week:
I've been wearing this sweater non-stop.
Mobile, Alabama. Who knew?
Euro train set for kids. Adorable!
Is this for real?! Goodness.
More on permission.
What it's really like to live in Pakistan.
Haha!
But seriously. Stay focused.
Other than that, I'm just dying to speak French again after watching Amélie. I miss speaking another language every day, even hacking away at ugly German! Haha. (Kidding, not kidding;) I would really love to get back to Paris with Coco and Theo so they could hear me blabber away with everyone willing to listen. Sigh.
Have a great weekend. See you back here Monday. xo
I did not go to Paris shortly after watching Amélie. I did however have my college friend cut my bangs like her. It was a terrible look and I don't think any photos exist!
ReplyDeleteI kind of think that haircut only looks good on Audrey Tautou. ;) Good for you on avoiding all cameras at the time. I definitely did not. I thought I looked great! HA!! xx
